British furniture brand Very Good & Proper has collaborated with London based designer Emily Forgot on a uniqe Assembly Series. Emily Forgot uses a playful and graphic visual language to explore her passion for interior spaces, architecture and colour. She first debuted her original assemblages at the London Design Festival in 2016.
For VG&P Forgot has designed a bespoke series that marries her own processes and influences with the processes, techniques and material used in VG&P’s practice. Forgot’s assemblages not only exist in a space between the real and the imagined but also somewhere between the 2D and the 3D world.

The Assembly Series takes shape in the form of three individual art pieces which are inspired by the architecture of post-war schools, sharing a commonality with Very Good & Proper’s first product, the Canteen Chair, which was inspired by the classic post-war British school chair.
