Maximize the use of Landscape Design The biggest challenge to conquer when designing this home was the lack of privacy. The residence is located at the highway exit of Tainan City, which brings the advantages of transportation but naturally inhibits privacy. ''We wanted to create seclusion without sacrificing natural light'' explains Lo. ''With that in mind, we used the black and white cube designs to offer a minimalist approach, and floor-to-ceiling tempered glass in place of traditional windows with added natural landscapes surrounding the building for extra security''.
Incorporate Nature in the Home by Experimenting with Glass With the main goal of maximizing privacy incorporating nature into the home seemed impossible, but working with glass can truly transform a home. In Eden Oasis, the home is shaped around a u-shaped glass enclosure, making nature a fellow occupant of the home and giving the illusion of living in a cultivated forest as opposed to just off of an urban highway. The trees in the garden vary in size, reflecting nature’s beautiful imperfections. It honors its surroundings and provides a respite from the urban setting
Cherish the Beauty of Living in the Present The inspiration for the design of the interior was to maintain a consistent and minimalist style. The simplistic living space surrounded by the green environment cherishes the beauty of living in the present. Nothing is more important than to live in this moment and be satisfied with what you already have in your own environment.

Create Synergy Between the Outside & Inside using a Neutral Color Scheme ''With minimalism being a central theme, we aimed to keep the decor light and simple'' explains Lo. ''We chose a neutral color scheme to create synergy between the outside and inside of the home and create an airy light-filled space''.
Give Back to the Natural Environment by using Local Materials 'In Eden Oasis, with the use of landscape design, we also wanted to be sure we were being as sustainable as possible'' states Lo. The tree species planted in the courtyard maintain the ideal of species diversity and preserve the ecological environment. Local species were used to create a layer of greenery, taking into account the adaptability of climate and ecological environment. Reducing the need for excess carbon emissions. Local materials were used to reduce the associated C0² emissions that come with transportation in the construction of a project. This transformed the project into a new type of building with multiple applications and flexibilit
