Great architecture and great design are more than just making a space look good, it needs to be functional, comfortable and practical too. No one knows this better than those with functional variations that mean they have limited senses and rely on good architecture and great design on a daily basis

The Home for the Blind competition is a chance for architecture and design enthusiasts to reinvent what accessible architecture looks like and how it functions to help those who cannot see. Bee Breeders are calling for submissions for a semi-detached house for a single blind occupant which includes all the amenities of a typical home such as a kitchen, bedroom, living room, and bathroom as well as a small
courtyard.



This is an ideas competition, so participants are free to choose a location from their own home country, and focus their efforts on innovative architectural concepts, rather than specific design details.
The Home for the Blind competition is the first in a series of competitions which will focus on exploring the relationship between .

3,000 Architecture and design are primarily thought of as visual mediums, with visual aesthetics at the heart of many aspects of modern architectural design for home and workplaces.
