1. All professional members of the jury, Harry Seidler, Arata Isozaky, M. Fuksas and Zvi Efrat, reviewed the original 194 entries in Vienna on January 11, 2002. 2. After 6 rounds remained 20 entries as finalists: 60, 94, 69, 76, 141, 152, 159, 192, 135, 30, 140, 80, 180, 55, 59, 189, 162, 79, 111, 176. 3. The jury decided to divide the works into 3 categories due to the apparent differences of approach in relating to the competition. The categories decided by the jury are: A. Pragmatic approach which suggests a concrete functional solution to Rabin Square. B. Conceptual approach which aims at a clear statement concerning an urban square in general and a 'peace forum' in particular. C. Visionary approach which dwells on the symbolic, allegorical, poetic and utopian aspects of commemoration and hope for peace . 4. The jury decided to endow 1 prize, shared by 2 entries, to each category. 5. The winners in Category A are: 152 and 141. The winners in Category B are: 159 and 192. The winners in Category C are: 60 and 180. 6. Israel Goodovitch, chairman of the Institute of Architects in Israel suggests to endow an equal special prize of $5,000 to the entry selected by the public during the exhibition of the entries in November 2001 at the Institute's house in Tel Aviv.
