| what’s the project? design competition for the new museum of fado, ancient folk musica, in one of the oldest districts of lisbon, the alfama. place and theme the competitors are requested to design the new museu do fado, the mufa, replacing the previous built in 1850. we want to become an architectural symbol, capable of representing the tradition by becoming a reference point for the whole community. revisit the roots to reshape the future: it is a significant step for the revitalization of the alfama. competition website: http://startfortalents.net/contest-museu-do-fado-in-lisboa/ |
