'september 28th 2002 is the deadline for submitting projects on the theme of blown glassware to the fifth international design contest trieste
contemporanea. the contest is open to the designers of 21 countries of central eastern europe.
the winning designer will be awarded a prize of 2500 euro and will be invited to murano [venice] to assist to the execution to the prototype. all he selected projects will be realized in murano by the scuola del vetro
and will become part of an exhibition which starting from the lagoon city will subsequently travel to other cities of europe.
