the competition calls for the planning of a 25-hectare housing complex in frankfurt, germany to be used for the 2012 olympics.
in the event that frankfurt is successful in its bid for the 2012 games, the winning firm will have earned the opportunity to enter into a contract with the deutsche
bundesbahn and city of frankfurt in order to realize this project.
the competition will be narrowed to 30 participants of which 25 will be selected through a lottery from the original shortlist of 50.
the additional 5 will be invited participants.
