the danish ministry of culture invites entries for a competition concerning the design and location of a new playhouse for the royal theatre on the kvæsthusbro site in the inner harbour of copenhagen. the total gross floor will be 18,000 m² including basement areas. a total sum off dkk 2,500,000 has been set aside for prizes and purchases.
the competition brief can be ordered by application to the competition secretariat of the federation of danish architects at the address listed below, by sending an email to [email protected] - or by downloaded from the competition website. the annexes can be obtained from dal/aa against payment of dkk 400 into account number: 1199 - 0009 07 20 47, swift code: bikudkkk - marked 'det kongelige teater'.
