hi! istudied here in fashion institute of technology.the portfolio you need to have is based on the school and program you go to. as far as i know it is not like in isreal that you have to take a special course to create a portfolio. depends on the schooll too, your portfolio should have work that show you have basic artistic talent and vision, sensetivity to colors, proportions, some knowledge of art history, painting techinique and unique style. you present your work in different media: water color, oil, acrylic, pastel...you either bring the original work or picture of theme.something like 30 works of art..hope this was helpfull and good luck!.
