מחפשים נקודת התחלה - מצאנו גן. כמו היצירה האנושית שנובעת מבפנים, כך הגן נובע ושואב מהאדמה, מחבר בין נמוך לגבוה. כדי לאפשר צמיחה נבקע הגן ונחשף תוכו היצרי. השבר הגיאולוגי שנוצר חושף את חמשת בתי-הספר לאמנות מצידו האחד ושדרה של אולמות מן העבר האחר. שכבות העבר מהדהדות בחזיתות המבנים, זוהי נגיעה קלה – מתחם שיוצר עתיד ומשקף עבר. ממעמקים נובעת היצירה, בקו אחד חזק וטעון. לתוכו צומח הגן  - נושא איתו את בתי הספר – מתוך שלמות אחת של שבר וצמיחה.

סביב מרכז המשלב פעילות עירונית ופרטית, מאורגנים בתי-הספר ומרכז מסחרי ותרבותי, שקושר אליו סביבה קרובה ורחוקה. ככר החובקת את מרכז האמנויות הקיים 'ז'רר-בכר' יוצרת כניסה צפונית למתחם. תיאטרון פתוח מחבר את העיר מדרום בכניסה שמסמלת את המבע הלא רשמי של האמנויות. שביל ארוך עובר דרך המתחם -  חוצה אותו מצפון לדרום - נוגע לא נוגע. התיאטרון הדרומי והשתפלות קרקע שעונה לו כהד מצפון תוחמים את קצוות הבקע, כך שנוצר מרכז כובד האחד את הפעילות והעשייה הפרטית והעירונית ציבורית.

'שדרת האולמות' בשילוב מסחר (בעיקר בקומה העליונה 1+), משמשת כחוט מקשר בין בתי הספר לעיר. באולמות יתקיימו הרצאות ומופעים בשימוש כפול, פרטי וציבורי. המתחם נמצא בדיאלוג מתמיד של קבלה ונתינה עם העיר.

הבניין הארוך - משל דייק הפורץ מהאדמה – (משמש לכיתות לימוד משותפות לחמשת בתי-הספר) מצופה אבן בדוגמת חיפוי ירושלמי מסורתי של רצפות. מילוי הבטון בין המשטחים מדמה התפרצות נוספת, דוגמת דייק מודרני של חומר חדש מול האבן הבראשיתית. העתקת ה'ריצפה' וההעמדה על קיר מחוץ לקנה-מידה, מחזקים את הניגוד והדיאלוג בין נמוך לגבוה. המתחם חי בסימביוזה מלאה עם העיר, מאפשר אינטימיות למטייל או לשוהה ויחד עם זאת מהווה סמל להתחדשות וליצירה שקורות בו.

Looking for a beginning – we found a garden. Like human creation that comes from below, the green seeks from the soil linking low to high. Allowing growth, the garden spreads apart showing its inner nature. The geologic fracture exposes the five art schools on the one hand, and a 'theatre boulevard' on the other. Ancient layers lightly echo on the facades, showing the future as also reflecting the past. From depth comes creation in one single strong and loaded line. The garden penetrates that line, carrying the schools in completeness that comes form the combination of shatter and growth.

Around a center that combines urban and private activities, are organized the five schools, as well as commercial and cultural center, which links the near and far surroundings. A north plaza embraces the 'Jerar-Bachar' art center, offering a shared entrance to the site. An open theatre links the city bringing non-formal expression from the south. A long path creates a barely touching north-south cross through the site. The south theatre and the ground slope that opposites it from the north, zones the spread-apart ground creating a center of gravity to the sites activities – private as public.

The 'theatre boulevard' (east façade on school garden floor +0.00) combined with commercial floor (mainly in floor +1) helps linking the art schools to the city. The halls will offer lectures and shows in double usage for students and citizens. The sight will deliver constant inspiring dialog with the city .

The long building –  An allegory to erupting dike – (serving as shared classes for the five school) is glazed with a stone traditionally used for Jerusalem flooring. The concrete fill between the 'stone-fields' acts as modern eruption through ancient. The out-of scale setting of the used to be 'paving-stone' to the wall strengthens the contrast and dialog between low and high. The site acts fully symbiotic with the city, offering the visitor a new experience and symbolizes the creativity that it in-holds.
