קרקע. מאיזה כיוון שלא נביט על זה, פוליטי, כלכלי, סביבתי, חברתי, משאב זה הינו יקר המציאות ואינו מתחדש. בייחוד כשמדובר במדינתינו הקטנטונת...ועל אחת כמה וכמה כשאנו מסתכלים על אופציות ההתפתחות וההתפשטות של המרחב האורבני של גוש דן בכלל ותל אביב בפרט.
בבסיסו של פרוייקט זה עומדות שתי תפיסות:
האחת קובעת כי יש למצות ולמקסם את השימושים בקרקע במרחב העירוני. ולהמנע משימוש בשטחים פתוחים.
השנייה גורסת כי העיר שייכת להולך הרגל ורוכב האופניים.
ההצעה שמציג פרויקט זה שואפת לממש את הפוטנציאל הטמון בייחוד הטופוגרפי של נתיבי האיילון. ובהתאם לתפיסות אלה מציע הפרוייקט לפתח את השטח שמעל לנתיבים כציר עסקים, תרבות ופנאי מטרופוליני. בלב הפרויקט מסלול העובר לאורך נתיבי איילון בין האוניברסיטה ופארק הירקון לפארק דרום והלאה לפארק חיריה. מסלול זה יממש את הקשר החסר כל כך בתל אביב בין צפון לדרום ובעיקר בין מזרח למערב. הפיכת האיילון מאיזור מפורז למרכז מטרופוליני אורכי תאפשר ל"חוויה התל אביבית" לפרוץ את גבולות מרכז העיר ולהתפשט לאיזורים שעד כה לא היו באור הזרקורים.
Ayalon high way developing project – an opportunity to urban connection and continuity
Looking at Israel’s map and in particular at Tel Aviv’s layout, one can easily see that land is not a resource we can afford to spend.
In the heart of this project there are two approaches:
The first claims that maximizing land utility in the urban space and preventing the use of new land is crucial.
The second determines that the city belongs to the pedestrian and the cyclist.
The proposal, introduced by this project, intends to realize the potential concealed in the topographic designation of Ayalon high way. According to these complementary perceptions, the project suggests to develop the void above the lanes as a metropolitan path designated for recreation, culture and business. This path will be situated between the university and ‘Ha Yarkon’ park in the north and ‘Darom’ park and ‘Hiria’ in the south. The path would fill the missing linkage in Tel Aviv between north and south and moreover between east and west. This transformation, from no man’s land to a longitudinal center will enable the Tel Avivian experience to burst beyond the city centre. |
