מצפה ים המלח // חשיפת אדריכלים

משרד האדריכלים שמואלי – עידו, בשיתוף משרד שטול אדריכלים תכננו מצפה בים המלח לפי הזמנת משרד התיירות.
הפרויקט, שממוקם על הר גבוה מול ים המלח וצופה אליו, הינו מבנה המונח כחפיר בין שני קצוות רכס הרים והוא מורכב ממערך של חללים נטולי פונקציה ותכלית מוגדרת.
תפקידו המרחבי הוא לסמל את המפגש בין המרחב הטבעי חסר הגבולות, לעשייה האדריכלית המבוססת על גבולות.
בתוך כך, שלוש מערכות מרחביות העשויות כל אחת משתי קוביות חסרות ופרוצות, מבטאות את נצחיות הזמן והתמיד, תוך התגלות אקראית של הנוף החיצוני הסובב.
Mountaintop overlooking the Dead Sea
Shmoeli- Ido Architects, a young architecture firm share their most recent project, located on a beautiful mountaintop overlooking the Dead Sea in the south of Israel.
The project is a structure lain as a molt between two edges of a mountain range and is formed through an alignment of spaces devoid of function or purpose.
Its spatial function is to symbolize the joining of the natural limitless space with the boundary based architectural making.
Within the structure three spatial systems are at play. Each is made of two breached and fractured cubes, which embody the eternity of time by way of randomly uncovering of the surrounding landscape.
